GALANTINI WINS DISTRICT TITLE
Junior heavyweight Mike Galantini became the first Valley view wrestler since 2005 to win a District 2 title. Galantini defeated Meyers' Anthony Gipson with two points in OT. He will now advance to the Northeast Regional Tournament next weekend. Four other Cougar grapplers medaled in the District 2 Class AA tournament: Troy Uhrin finished fourth at 189 and Tyler Chesko finished fourth at 152. Mike Cipelewski finished fifth at 140 and John Joyce finished fifth at 112.
